Singapore - A Peesai

Few weeks back me & a friend chatted with some locals at the Orange County Fair. When we told them we from Singapore, they asked "Is that part of China?"

And then last week while hanging out with Ashley, she said her friends asked where the hell is that when she told them where I was from.

Everybody knows United States but that doesnt mean they need to know about you. A co-worker told me she has never flown out of States, just inter-states & furthurst she went is Hawaii but that too is part of America.

The country's so big & they've got everything. She doesnt feel the need to get out of the country. These people are in California, quite a city & they may not know or heard of Singapore, the natural phenomenal Auroras, catfish having barbs or strings..

Sometimes I get the feeling they're really closed-up. I guess in Singapore there are people like that too but maybe what really bothers me is they dont really care and they think they're always right..
